MaSha wins French Open, completes career slam

After beating Errani in the Roland Garros final a few minutes ago, Maria Sharapova is now the 17th player in history to have completed a Career Grand Slam.

She won Wimbledon in 2006, the U.S. Open in 2006, and the Australian Open in 2008, right before a severe shoulder injury that kept her out of the top-ranking spots for four years.

Today she becomes the fourth player to have completed a career grand slam in singles, joining an elite club comprising Martina Hingis, Martina Navratilova, and Steffi Graf. On Monday, when the new WTA rankings are released, she will regain the coveted world's #1 position for the first time since August 2008.

Way to go, MaSha!
